thanks to this blog editors for publishing this. i've been backpacking since september 2015, through south of india. climbed up from kerala to gokarna and now goa.
chilling out with all kinds of backpackers and travellers is my occupation now. took some time to decide and jump out of routine and socially accepted life... but guess there was no need to worry or think so much. all the people (most) are super supportive and peaceful, and never enjoyed such open discussions so much.
being with people from multiple countries kinda makes one understand different cultural practices and to some extent, the gender divide has disappeared. of course, it started with me, when i started looking at myself not as a female of male, and it kinda began to express in interactions with others.
sometimes, i met people, formed into a close group, and had intense interactions and insights... strangers became kindred souls within hours. stranger than fiction experiences became daily occurrence.
