34) Night study

34) Night study
Stack of papers,
Scattered books,
Pens and empty cups of coffee,
Lie all around me.

The clock ticks faster,
The books grow fatter,
And an insect miles away,
Disturbs me greatly.

My eyes are aching,
And joints are squeaking,
Unless I rest, I know,
I’ll be taken ill, now.

But I just can’t rest,
Even for a while, stop;
Because looms large shadows,
Of teachers, parents and peers.

One of my earliest, Pressure & shame as motivators. the academic grade competition race is a sham. The only purpose in getting good grades is comfyness while revealing negative views about such a system (If I had low grades, my criticism would have been rejected as that of a loser or lousy excuses).
