16) Graffiti

16) Graffiti
During those carefree days
And countless friends,
Started this a story,
Of Ram and Sally.

It was in the canteen as usual,
Ram met Sally,
And drove us all crazy,
Until he knew her name.

Sent Ram many times,
Cards and roses,
And all of us played cupids;
After a month she relented.

In classes or theatre,
Always remained together,
Till they got married,
The next day of graduation.

They lived happily,
For some time,
Had their fun playing,
Wife, husband and home.

Then career and business,
Became Ram’s new mistress,
In the exam of life,
They both failed, parted.

Sometimes, I still come across,
In the college walls,
A hardly recognizable graffiti,
Ram loves sally.

Its an imaginary incident, and though I had a vague idea about this one, it took years to flow out. A debate between Love marriage v/s arranged marriage and aimless or definition-less marriages around me inspired this one.
